Jay Fajardo
Program Director

Jay is a serial tech entrepreneur whose first startup was coding and selling business software while in high school in the late 80's. His last startup cycle was Wi-Fi hotspot network Airborne Access, founded in 2002, and sold it to PLDT in 2008. 

He is currently founder and CEO of Ruby development shop Proudcloud, and the Program Director of Launchgarage, a startup accelerator based in Manila that funds and mentors early stage startups through a 6 month program. He is an organiser of Startup Weekend Manila, runs the regular ROOFCAMP innovators and disruptors meetup, and #failbeers where founders share their failure stories and their learnings.

Jay holds roles as director, advisor, and mentor to various tech startups in Manila and regularly speaks on Lean Startup, Agile Deveopment, and the South East Asian Startup Ecosystem.
