Daniel Guagnin is a research associate the Zetrum Technik und Gesellschaft at Technische Universität Berlin. He is currently doing research about privacy in the realm of security technologies in a project called Profiling, funded by the European Union. Daniel's is writing a doctoral thesis on knowledge transfer in Free Software Communities at Universität Duisburg-Essen. He received his Magister degree in sociology from the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany), he also studied computer science, economics and politics.
