Ahmed Bastawy is a social engineer who believes that informal education can mediate the gap between academia and private sector. He is a facilitator who is passionate about applying new experiential learning techniques and practical training methodologies.

In 2011, he founded Ro2yaty Training Agency to support social initiatives and enterprises in Alexandria. One year ago, he initiated icealex (innovation, collaboration and entrepreneurship) hub to establish an enabling ecosystem for action-oriented minds co-creating sustainable solutions for local challenges.

He is mainly concerned by innovation in making, and social responsibility in entrepreneurship.
