re:publica 2014 took place at STATION-Berlin in Berlin-Kreuzberg.

The STATION-Berlin is a former postal freight train station, which, after its completion in 1913, has experienced its share of highs and lows. Once the largest package distribution facility in Germany, it was taken off of the rail network in 1997 and eventually closed down in 2003 following restructuring and rationalisation measures. Two years later, the train station was purchased by PREMIUM Exhibitions GmbH and thoroughly renovated.
The redevelopment works kept the charm of the historical building complex in tact. Since then, its various halls have housed various events.
From 6 – 8 May 2014, it was, now for the third time, the home of re:publica.
